How to set up POS hardware
Use the setup path that matches the hardware and device running M&M POS.
Confirm the connection type
Check whether the hardware uses USB, Bluetooth, Wi-Fi, Ethernet, NFC, or an RJ12 connection through a receipt printer. Confirm that connection is supported by the Windows, macOS, Android, or iOS device running M&M POS.
Install, pair, or connect the device
Install manufacturer drivers for desktop printers when required. Pair supported Bluetooth devices in the operating system or M&M POS connection flow. Connect internet readers to a stable network before registration.
Select the hardware in M&M POS
Open the related printer or Stripe settings in M&M POS and select the connected device. For desktop receipt printing, set the intended printer as the system default when using the standard print path.
Test before serving customers
Print a test receipt, scan a known barcode, or run the reader's test connection before the hardware is used at checkout. For a cash drawer, first confirm the receipt printer works, then test the drawer through the printer.

Yes. M&M POS supports USB, wireless, and Bluetooth barcode scanners for adding inventory and selling items. On supported mobile devices, the device camera can also scan barcodes from barcode-enabled fields.
